While serving a suspended sentence and a 30-month probation for the crime of "Disturbing public order", NVH, residing in Dien Chau district, was forced by the authorities to serve his prison sentence.

Information from the authorities of Dien Chau district said: NVH (born 2004), residing in Yen Thinh hamlet, Ngoc Bich commune (Dien Chau), on August 24, 2023, was sentenced by the People's Court of Dien Chau district to 15 months in prison for the crime of "Disturbing public order" in Judgment No. 126/2023/HS-ST, but was given a suspended sentence, with a probation period of 30 months from the date of the first instance judgment (August 24, 2023).

Although he received leniency from the law when he was given a suspended sentence, NVH did not take that as a lesson. NVH even intentionally stayed absent from the locality without permission from the competent authority. Although the Ngoc Bich Commune Police advised the Chairman of the Ngoc Bich Commune People's Committee to summon him many times, NVH still did not show up.

Faced with NVH's disregard for the law, Ngoc Bich Commune Police advised the Chairman of Ngoc Bich Commune People's Committee to prepare a file and transfer it to a higher authority for handling.

On December 19, 2024, Dien Chau District People's Court issued Decision No. 01/2024/HSST-QD forcing NVH to serve a 15-month prison sentence instead of the previous suspended sentence.
