Coffee price today February 23, 2025: Strong increase at the end of the week, towards a new peak
Today's domestic coffee price, February 23, is at 132,800 - 134,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Coffee prices increased sharply from 1,800 to 2,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Arabica coffee prices fell to their lowest level in 2 weeks.
Domestic coffee prices today
Domestic coffee prices in the Central Highlands region today increased sharply from 1,800 to 2,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday, fluctuating between 132,800 - 134,000 VND/kg.
Accordingly, traders in Dak Nong province are purchasing coffee at the highest price of 134,000 VND/kg. A sharp increase of 1,800 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Coffee price in Dak Lak province is 134,000 VND/kg, a sharp increase of 2,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Similarly, coffee prices in Gia Lai province increased by VND2,000/kg and were traded at VND134,000/kg.
In Lam Dong province, coffee prices increased sharply by VND1,800/kg and reached VND132,800/kg.

On February 21, in Ho Chi Minh City, the People's Committee of Dak Lak province held a press conference to announce the operation plan of the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2025 with the theme 'Buon Ma Thuot - Destination of world coffee'.
This year's Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival will take place from March 9 to 13. This is a practical activity to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Buon Ma Thuot Victory Day, the liberation of Dak Lak province (March 10, 1975 - March 10, 2025).
At the same time, it contributes to promoting the Buon Ma Thuot coffee brand, building the image of Buon Ma Thuot city as the 'Coffee City of the World', enhancing the position of the Vietnamese coffee industry in the international arena and promoting the socio-economic development and tourism of Dak Lak province. This event is also an opportunity to honor coffee growers, processors and traders.
World coffee prices today

Robusta Coffee (London):
Delivery in March 2025: Up 71 USD/ton, to 5,712 USD/ton.
Delivery in May 2025: Up 62 USD/ton, to 5,717 USD/ton.
Arabica Coffee (New York):
March 2025 delivery: Down 0.65 cent/lb, to 389.25 cent/lb.
May 2025 delivery: Down 0.65 cent/lb, to 378.9 cent/lb.
Arabica coffee prices initially rose but then gradually eased towards the end of the session and hit a two-week low as inventory recovery put pressure on liquidation of long-term contracts in the arabica coffee futures market.
Meanwhile, robusta coffee inventories monitored by ICE hit a more than four-month high of 4,603 lots on January 31, but then fell to a more than one-month low of 4,297 lots on February 18. As of Friday, robusta inventories stood at 4,322 lots.
High arabica prices have prompted roasters to switch to cheaper robusta.
A Brazilian brokerage recently reported that coffee production for Brazil’s 2025-2026 crop year is expected to reach 59.75 million bags, which is about 8% lower than the current crop year.
Arabica production is forecast to total 36.46 million bags, down 16% from the previous crop year, while robusta is forecast to reach 23.29 million bags, up 8%. This overall figure is conservative compared to the average of independent forecasts for the 2025-2026 crop year, which is estimated at 62.8 million bags.
