Voluntary blood donation on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day
On the morning of February 23, in Dien Chau district, Nghe An Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center coordinated with departments, branches, sectors, and the Voluntary Blood Donation Steering Committee of Dien Chau district and Do Luong district to organize the program "One drop of blood - Million hearts" and the program "Pink drops, white blouse".
This is an activity in a series of events towards the 70th Anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day, February 27.
At the program, the Provincial Blood Transfusion Center received more than 800 units of blood from doctors, nurses and youth union members in Dien Chau district.
It is expected that on the morning of February 25, the program will continue to be implemented in Do Luong district.
Previously, Nghe An Health Department implemented the 10th "Red Drops, White Blouse" program, receiving more than 1,000 units of blood.
On this occasion, the Provincial Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center also organized voluntary blood donation programs in Hong Linh town, Duc Tho district (Ha Tinh province).
The program "One drop of blood - Million hearts", "Red drop of white blouse" was held before the 70th anniversary of Vietnam Doctors' Day (February 27, 1955 - February 27, 2025) contributing to spreading the good message of sharing, compassion and the spirit of dedication to the cause of caring for and protecting people's health of officials, civil servants and employees of Nghe An Health sector.
