On the afternoon of February 25, Inspection Team No. 1920 of the Politburo and Secretariat held a conference to announce the decision and inspection plan for 2025 for the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) and central mass organizations.
The inspection content is about the implementation of the apparatus arrangement and streamlining; the preparation for Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress; the organization of the implementation of Resolution No. 57 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation; the implementation of the supplementary project on socio-economic development in 2025 with the growth target of 8% or more.
Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien emphasized that this is an important inspection that the Politburo and General Secretary To Lam have focused on directing so that through the inspection work, the results of the implementation of these very important tasks will be grasped.
Thereby promoting strengths, clearly identifying limitations and weaknesses to have a plan for implementation in the coming time and preparing for the Party Congress. In particular, continuing to implement the Party's major policies on arranging and streamlining the apparatus in the direction of strength, efficiency, effectiveness and efficiency.
With a serious and receptive spirit, accepting the comments of the inspection team, Mr. Chien affirmed that the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Central organizations will develop a plan to promote the advantages, good practices and overcome any limitations, if any, to meet the direction requirements of the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, and the Secretariat headed by General Secretary To Lam.

In the coming time, Mr. Le Minh Hung suggested that, based on the content of Conclusion 126, the Party Committee should continue to coordinate with relevant agencies to submit to competent authorities to appoint personnel for Party Committees, Inspection Committees, and issue decisions on working regulations according to their authority.
At the same time, appoint the executive committee, standing committee, secretary, deputy secretary, inspection committee, chairman, deputy chairman, and members of the party committee inspection committee for the 2020-2025 term of the affiliated party committees...
The next task is for the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central mass organizations to coordinate with the Central Organizing Committee, the Government Party Committee, the National Assembly Party Committee and the Party Committees of socio-political organizations and mass organizations at the Central level assigned by the Party and State to lead and direct a general review of the functions, tasks, and organizational structure of affiliated agencies and organizations.
In particular, Mr. Le Minh Hung emphasized "especially press agencies" to ensure unified management and effective operations in the direction of maximum streamlining, maintaining only really necessary units, reporting to the Politburo in the second quarter of 2025.
Research on the orientation to continue rearranging socio-political organizations and mass organizations assigned by the Party and State to be directly under the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (in sync with the current Party organizational structure) and propose policies to amend and supplement relevant legal regulations and Party regulations, and report to the Politburo in the third quarter of 2025.

Mr. Le Minh Hung requested the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central organizations to direct relevant units to study and promptly contribute opinions to the content of draft documents requesting comments from the Politburo and report to the Central Executive Committee for implementation in accordance with the spirit of "running while lining up", "doing it thoroughly, cautiously but quickly" to meet the workload of preparing for the Party Congress.
"Along with the project to reorganize and streamline the organizational apparatus, it is necessary to propose amendments to legal documents, including some very important legal documents such as the Constitution and related documents," Mr. Le Minh Hung emphasized.
“According to Conclusion 126, what is the local government apparatus at the provincial and district levels like, and how are the socio-political organizations from the central to local levels reorganized? How will the party organizations be arranged in the future?”, the Head of the Central Organization Committee raised the issue and said that this is a very big task and is an issue that needs to be quickly researched to report to the Central Committee.
Mr. Le Minh Hung said that the recent organizational arrangement has inherited the results achieved in many terms, especially the process of implementing Resolution 18.
According to Mr. Le Minh Hung, we have a practical basis, a legal basis, and a scientific basis to continue implementing the contents of organizational and apparatus arrangement in a thorough and cautious spirit with new methods and approaches, making stronger breakthroughs and creating consensus from the Central to local levels, the consensus of Party committees, Party organizations, Party members and people.
Regarding the implementation of Resolution No. 57 of the Politburo, Mr. Le Minh Hung requested the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and central organizations to lead, direct, develop programs and plans to guide and mobilize people to implement the resolution and promote the role of supervision and social criticism of the people in implementing the resolution.
In particular, it is necessary to promote the role of mass organizations in contributing to mechanisms and policies to propose breakthrough solutions in science and technology, digital transformation, innovation and creativity.
“The Fatherland Front needs to proactively propose and recommend policies on science and technology development and digital transformation to contribute to the Politburo in the process of implementing Resolution 57.

Regarding the Supplementary Project on Socio-Economic Development in 2025 with a growth target of 8% or more, Mr. Le Minh Hung suggested that there should be specific solutions to mobilize all classes of people and organizations to participate in responding and promoting private economic sector resources to promote growth.
