Real Madrid "attack" Liverpool duo
Real Madrid are planning to sign Liverpool star duo Ibrahima Konate and full-back Trent Alexander-Arnold.

According to The Times, the Spanish Royal team is closely monitoring the situation of both players.
Ibrahima Konate joined Liverpool in 2021 and is now a key figure in the Anfield defence. However, Konate's contract runs until 2026 and he has yet to agree a new deal, sparking speculation that he could leave. Not only Real Madrid but also Paris Saint-Germain are chasing the 25-year-old.
Unlike Konate, Trent Alexander-Arnold is likely to leave Liverpool at the end of the season, when his current contract expires in June. Losing Alexander-Arnold would be a big loss for Liverpool, but so far there have been no clear moves from the Premier League leaders in 2024/25 to keep the English star. That is the basis for Real to be confident that they will convince Alexander-Arnold to come to the Bernabeu.
Besides the two Liverpool stars, Real Madrid are also keeping an eye on AC Milan's Theo Hernandez to strengthen their left-back position.
Notably, Real are said to have stopped pursuing Arsenal centre-back William Saliba, as Konate is much cheaper.
