Vinh Market is the largest market in Nghe An province, with over 3,400 business households. For many years, Vinh Market has consistently maintained its position as a leading and important commercial center of the province, as well as a regional cultural exchange hub and a favorite destination for tourists visiting Vinh City.

Over the past five years, recognizing the difficulties and the large workload, from the beginning of the term, the Party Committee of the Vinh Market Management Board has put forward many policies and solutions to strengthen the management of business households to achieve high efficiency, such as: directing the implementation of the renewal of business location lease contracts for all fixed business households in Vinh Market; organizing a review of service fee rates; and addressing stalls, shops, and street vendors to find solutions for adjusting service prices fairly and reasonably.

In addition, strengthen the monitoring of the household owners' responsibility in fulfilling their contracts; disseminate the Party's guidelines, the State's policies and laws, and the Management Board's regulations to raise awareness and promote compliance with the law among business households...

The market's total revenue during the past term reached 67.9/71 billion VND; financial management, including revenue and expenditure, was basically in accordance with regulations and fulfilled its obligations to the State. Annual expenditures consistently met the assigned plan, while also increasing savings on recurring expenses. The average income of employees remained stable at 6-8 million VND/month, and employee welfare benefits were ensured and maintained. Party building, organizational development, and the development of mass organizations were given priority; to date, 5 out of 5 targets set in the resolution have been achieved...

During the past term, the Vinh Market Management Board has vigorously implemented fire prevention and fighting measures; maintained good order and security in the market area; handled many cases of traffic safety violations; and cleared goods and objects obstructing walkways, escape routes, and emergency exits within the market and surrounding roads.

Speaking at the congress, Comrade Tran Quang Lam - Vice Chairman of the Vinh City People's Committee - acknowledged and highly appreciated the results achieved by the Vinh Market Management Board Party Committee in the past term. In the next term, the city hopes that the Vinh Market Management Board will continue to implement key tasks such as effectively managing business households, collecting taxes correctly and fully to ensure assigned targets are met, upgrading commercial infrastructure, ensuring hygiene, security and order, preventing fire and explosion incidents, and educating traders to adapt to digital technology to improve business efficiency...

The Congress elected 7 comrades to the new Executive Committee of the Vinh Market Management Board Party Committee; and elected 1 official delegate to attend the higher-level Congress. Comrade Nguyen Huu Dac - Head of the Vinh Market Management Board - was re-elected as Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vinh Market Management Board for the term 2025-2030.
