Miss Thuy Tien apologizes amid controversy over 'exaggerated' vegetable candy advertisement
Miss Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien apologized to the audience, considering this a big lesson for herself about product advertising.
On the evening of March 6, Miss Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien spoke for the first time about the scandal of advertising vegetable gummy candies that caused a stir in public opinion.
At the beginning of the article, the beauty queen sent her sincere apologies to everyone for causing worries and concerns over the past time.
According to Thuy Tien, in the past few days she was surprised and worried by the information posted on social networks. The beauty queen confirmed that she has accompanied the product because she found it suitable for herself as well as the goal of promoting Vietnamese agricultural products.
Thuy Tien said she had used the product before accepting the advertisement. At the same time, she was also provided with full product certification documents by the brand.
"When there was information about the product, I immediately contacted relevant parties to clarify the issue. I also worked with authorities and third parties to verify the information," Thuy Tien said.
The beauty queen affirmed that she wanted everything to be clarified as quickly and transparently as possible.
"I apologize once again for the concern everyone has experienced. All the information I shared is based on the factory's information. This is also a great lesson and I apologize if I caused any mistakes or misunderstandings during the product promotion process," she shared.
In December 2024, Miss Thuy Tien announced a collaboration project to launch vegetable candy with Quang Linh Vlogs and Hang Du Muc. She posted a number of articles promoting and introducing this product on her blue-ticked Facebook page.
However, in recent days, there have been consecutive articles exposing this candy with a fiber content that is not as advertised by the brand.
Previously, Quang Linh Vlogs apologized for conveying inaccurate information, causing misunderstandings to customers. Hang Du Muc also apologized for the noisy advertisement about the product's uses.
At the same time, Miss Thuy Tien remained silent. Two posts related to the above candy posted on January 7 and December 12, 2024 on the personal page "Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien" with the blue tick also disappeared.
