Ban Ve Hydropower Reservoir has an area of over 5,000 hectares of water surface and a capacity of up to 1.83 billion m³, which is a favorable condition for the development of aquaculture in the area. During this period, the unit released more than 50,000 fish fry of high economic value, suitable for the local environment, including grass carp, bighead carp, common carp, silver carp, tilapia... At the same time, 500 kg of grass carp were also provided to support people raising fish in cages in the reservoir area, with a total value of nearly 150 million VND.

This is an annual activity of the Company, with profound political, social and humanitarian significance, aiming to restore and regenerate aquatic resources that are being depleted due to overexploitation. This activity also contributes to cleaning water sources, protecting the environment and maintaining ecological balance. At the same time, releasing fish helps provide a source of clean, safe and nutritious food, contributing to improving the livelihoods of local communities.

Through this activity, Ban Ve Hydropower Company also wants to propagate and mobilize people to strictly comply with regulations on aquatic resource exploitation, and stop using electric pulses, explosives or chemicals in aquatic resource exploitation. These actions not only cause imbalance in the ecosystem but also damage the biodiversity of Ban Ve Hydropower Reservoir and Ca River in general.

On this occasion, responding to the "Tet tree planting festival to forever remember President Ho Chi Minh" and implementing the "Program to plant 1 billion trees for a green Vietnam" launched by the Prime Minister, Ban Ve Hydropower Company organized a Tet tree planting festival at the unit's campus. With 100 trees, worth more than 100 million VND.
The above activities are a practical contribution to disaster mitigation and climate change response.
