Midfielder Quang Hai: 'Cannot underestimate the Cambodian team'
Talking about the upcoming match with the Cambodian team, midfielder Quang Hai said that this team has many naturalized players and is an opponent that cannot be underestimated.
On the afternoon of March 14, before the training session with the Vietnamese team, midfielder Nguyen Quang Hai shared about his personal situation as well as the team's preparations for the upcoming matches.
Quang Hai confirmed that he is in the best condition after a period of rest. "Currently, I am very healthy. I did not practice for the past two days because of some health problems, but after the last match, I need more time to recover. Now I am ready to prepare with the whole team for the upcoming matches."
When asked about the addition of young goalkeepers to the national team, Quang Hai did not show any concern. He said that these are all players who have experience playing in the V-League and are capable enough to be in the national team.
Quang Hai emphasized: "Currently, the whole team is making the best preparations for the upcoming match with Laos. This is an important step for the official matches. The important thing is that the team needs to focus on themselves and perfect their playing style to achieve the best results."
He also shared that the coaching staff will conduct research on the opponent through videotapes. "We have faced Laos at the AFF Cup, so the team has made the necessary preparations for this match."
According to Quang Hai, the young players in the current team are no longer too inexperienced because they have had many seasons playing in the V-League. "They are completely worthy of being here and will certainly help the team a lot. Having more and more young players will help the team gain experience, unite the playing style and create a stronger team."
