“President Putin responded positively to this initiative and immediately assigned the appropriate command to the troops. In this context, Moscow pointed out the need to stop the forced mobilization and rearmament of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

President Putin affirmed that Russia guarantees the lives of Ukrainian soldiers surrounded in the Kursk region in case they surrender.

Today (March 19), Russia and Ukraine will exchange prisoners of war according to the formula “175 for 175”. Moscow will hand over to Kiev 23 seriously wounded soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces who are being treated in Russia.

Moscow and Washington have agreed to set up expert groups to resolve the Ukrainian crisis.
