The trading session on March 19 in the US recorded VinFast VFS shares increasing sharply by nearly 11%, reaching 3.61 USD/share. This is the highest price of VFS since the beginning of March.

The total matched volume in the session reached 6.3 million units. At this price, VinFast's capitalization reached 8.5 billion USD, ranking 37th in the list of the world's largest automobile manufacturers.

Not only VFS, Vingroup's stocks also increased in price. VIC shares closed on March 19 at VND51,900/share, up 26% since the beginning of March, reaching the highest level in the past 16 months. VHM shares also increased by 15% and VRE increased by 6% during the same period.

Currently, Vingroup is the private enterprise with the largest market capitalization, with a total value of more than 198,000 billion VND.

This improvement came after Vinpearl (VPL) filed for listing on HoSE on March 6. If approved, this will be a new "war horse" of billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong on the stock exchange. Previously, Vinpearl issued more than 70 million shares at VND71,350/share, raising its charter capital to nearly VND18,000 billion.

Thanks to the increase in VIC shares, Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong's assets increased sharply, reaching 7 billion USD, helping him maintain his position as the richest person in Vietnam and ranked 466th in the list of world billionaires, according to the latest update from Forbes.

Besides strong growth in the stock market, VinFast also attracted attention when announcing Minio Green, a new mini electric car model.

Compared to other mini electric vehicles, Minio Green is smaller than VinFast VF 3 but larger than Wuling Mini EV, promising to create more attractive options in the urban electric vehicle segment.

On March 18, electric taxi company GSM held an event to launch VinFast Green in Hanoi. This was also an opportunity for customers to experience the new electric vehicle line.
