Bilateral patrol to protect Vietnam - Laos border
On April 1, Tri Le Border Post (Nghe An Provincial Border Guard) coordinated with Border Guard Company 217, Military Command of Hua Phan Province, Laos to organize a bilateral patrol.
Overcoming difficult weather and terrain conditions, two patrol teams inspected the border system and landmarks on the Vietnam-Laos border section from landmark 375 to landmark 376.

During the patrol, both sides carried out the steps and contents according to the regulations on foreign affairs, ensuring compliance with the plan agreed upon by both sides. Both sides also inspected the border section at the markers, ensuring the original state, with no risk of landslides or encroachment.

The two sides also exchanged information and the border situation in the area, and agreed to continue to strengthen bilateral border patrols to prevent illegal entry and exit, wildlife hunting and combat all types of crimes.
On this occasion, Tri Le Border Guard Station also presented gifts to Border Guard Company 217, Military Command of Hua Phan Province, Laos.
