Nghe An police arrest group of teenagers carrying swords and slingshots causing chaos at night

The Office of the Nghe An Police Investigation Agency said that the unit is consolidating the case file to strictly handle a group of teenagers who brought weapons to resolve personal conflicts in Nam Dan district.

Previously, in the early morning of April 9, the Office of the Investigation Police Agency of Nghe An Province Police and the Nghia Thai Commune Police, Nam Dan District received a report that in Hong Minh Hamlet, Nghia Thai Commune, Nam Dan District, a group of more than 10 young men gathered, holding weapons, riding many motorbikes in threes on National Highway 46 from Vinh City and Hung Nguyen District to Nam Dan District, speeding, weaving, swerving, lining up in a row, shouting, and honking.

When arriving at Hong Minh hamlet, Nghia Thai commune, Nam Dan district, the above subjects used swords, slingshots, beer bottles... to chase and beat some young people in the area, forcing them to run away. Notably, the subjects damaged some people's property, then got on their motorbikes and left. The incident caused outrage among the masses.

Immediately after receiving the report, the working group began investigating and verifying. On April 10, the authorities arrested 11 suspects who caused the above incident, including: Vu Hoang Anh (born in 2007), Nguyen Tu Hoang (born in 2007), both residing in Hung Yen Bac commune, Hung Nguyen district; Nguyen Cong Minh (born in 2008), Nguyen Ngoc Thien (born in 2010), both residing in Hung Yen Nam commune, Hung Nguyen district; Phan Van Hoang (born in 2006), Le Tien Dung (born in 2010), Nguyen Duy Manh (born in 2009), Tran Quang Huy (born in 2007), Pham Manh Cuong (born in 2008), all residing in Hung Tay commune, Hung Nguyen district; Vuong Viet Duc (born in 2008) and Nguyen Huy Hop (born in 2008), all residing in Nghi Lien commune, Vinh city. Confiscated evidence included 6 motorbikes, 10 mobile phones, 2 swords, 2 slingshots, various beer bottles...

At the investigation agency, the subjects confessed that due to previous conflicts on social networks, they planned and gathered to "take revenge" on other teenagers. Currently, the Investigation Police Agency Nghe An Provincial Police are consolidating records to strictly handle the subjects according to the provisions of law.
