On the afternoon of April 21, the Investigation Police Agency of Bac Lieu Province announced that it had just prosecuted the following suspects: Huynh Ba Phuc (born in 1961); Ngu The Nghia (born in 1984, both residing in Hung Loi Ward, Ninh Kieu District, Can Tho City); Nguyen Huu Khoa (born in 1977, residing in Le Binh Ward, Cai Rang District, Can Tho City) for the act of "Violating bidding regulations causing serious consequences".
According to the investigation, Huynh Ba Phuc, Director of the Company, and Ngu The Nghia, Head of Project Management Department of Hoa Binh Investment and Construction Consulting Company Limited, committed acts that did not ensure fairness and transparency in bidding, creating advantages for the consortium of T&C Hanoi Investment and Trade Joint Stock Company and TD Pharmaceutical and Medical Equipment Company Limited to win the bid, causing unequal competition.
Regarding Nguyen Huu Khoa, during the investigation, the Investigation Agency determined that Khoa had committed the act of "Violating bidding regulations causing serious consequences". This is a new development related to the case of violating bidding regulations causing serious consequences that occurred at the Department of Health of Bac Lieu province.
Previously, on March 5, the Investigation Police Agency of Bac Lieu Province prosecuted (prohibited from leaving the place of residence) Mr. Bui Quoc Nam (born in 1965, Director of the Department of Health of Bac Lieu Province) to investigate the act of "Violating regulations on bidding causing serious consequences"...
