Emergency arrest of pickup truck driver who used baseball bat to beat people
Thai Binh Province Police Department has just urgently arrested Vu Nam Thai, the pickup truck driver who used a baseball bat to attack another car driver.
Based on the initial investigation results, the Investigation Police Agency of Thai Binh Province Police has issued an emergency detention order and an emergency arrest order for Vu Nam Thai (born in 1988, residing in Tien Hai district, Thai Binh province), to investigate the act of Disturbing public order.
Previously, at around 10:20 a.m. on April 30, on Provincial Road 396B, Thai drove a pickup truck with license plate 17C-203.xx and Mr. Tran Hai D. (born in 1990, residing in Hoang Mai district, Hanoi) drove a car with license plate 30H-904.xx in the same direction from Quynh Phu district to Dong Hung district, Thai Binh province. While participating in traffic, the two people had a conflict on the road.
When going out to National Highway 10, Dong Son Commune, Dong Hung District, two vehicles collided, causing damage to the front of the pickup truck and damage to the rear of the car. After that, Thai got out of the car and used a blue baseball bat to attack Mr. D.
Upon receiving the information, the Traffic Police Team of Cau Nghin Traffic Police Station, Traffic Police Department of Thai Binh Province Police, who were ensuring traffic safety in the nearby area, promptly arrived, brought the subjects and evidence to the investigation agency to consolidate the case file and handle it according to regulations.
