Nghe An detected 368 speeding drivers during 5-day holiday
This is the result of the peak period of traffic patrol and control by the authorities during the 5-day holiday from April 30 to May 1.
According to statistics from the Traffic Police Department - Nghe An Provincial Police, during the holiday from April 30 to May 4, the functional forces increased patrols and traffic control in the area. Thereby, 1,527 cases of traffic law violations were detected and recorded.

Among the violations, there were 319 cases related to alcohol concentration, 2 cases of driving with drugs in the body, 368 cases of speeding, 237 cases of traffic light violations, driving on the wrong side of the road, lane, etc.
Authorities have handled 920 cases, with a total fine of more than 1.1 billion VND.
Despite the high traffic volume during the holiday, there were no serious traffic jams in the area. Notably, traffic accidents during this time decreased in terms of the number of cases, deaths and injuries compared to the same period last year.
