Nearly 28,000 visitors chose Eco Central Park for recreation and relaxation during the April 30th - May 1st holiday.
The lush green running route, considered one of the best in Central Vietnam, the kite festival featuring a giant kite measuring 10m x 14m, along with a series of attractive events and a diverse range of restaurants, attracted nearly 28,000 visitors to Eco Central Park, the green park founded by Ecopark, during the recent April 30th - May 1st holiday.
A meeting point for the people of Nghe An.
The April 30th - May 1st holiday has just ended, but Eco Central Park (nearly 200 hectares, located east of Vinh City, Nghe An province), a large green park founded by Ecopark, continues to welcome thousands of visitors every day. In just the past five days of the holiday, the project received nearly 28,000 visitors.
The highlight of this year's holiday at Eco Central Park was the "Liberation Day" running race, attracting over 1,000 athletes, held on the morning of May 1st. The race route started from the festival gate, traversing Hung Vuong and Au Co avenues to the park, square, and the path along Swan Lake Park. The large area of greenery and water created a spacious and refreshing environment, stimulating the athletes' enthusiasm for exercise.
“Running in the park, in my hometown on April 30th, is a special feeling, giving me the most emotions among the dozens of races I've participated in recently. Watching the parade on April 30th, participating in the race on May 1st, then relaxing, taking photos with family, and having lunch in the park – for me, that's a perfect holiday,” shared Cao Van Trung (40 years old, residing in Ha Huy Tap, Vinh City).
While Mr. Trung was participating in the 10km race, his wife and two children strolled along the internal paths, playing with rabbits, geese, pigeons, etc., raised in the park. His daughter, in particular, enjoyed the tame swans swimming near the lake.
Following the green city of Ecopark (Hung Yen), Eco Central Park, founded by the same person as Ecopark, is the second urban area in Vietnam where swans have successfully hatched in a natural environment.
“The race attracted many young athletes participating with their families. The energetic strides of the children, or their efforts to reach the finish line despite their fatigue, and their bright smiles were truly beautiful images. The moments of three generations of a family holding hands and crossing the finish line together, supporting each other on the way, were also memorable. The race not only promotes physical fitness but also helps build and spread a green lifestyle to create a healthy, intelligent, united, and humane community, contributing to the nation's transition into a new era – an era of national progress,” shared Mr. Nguyen Van Son, representative of the Ecopark founder.
Ecopark is also the only real estate developer in Vietnam to own its own branded running event, which is built and maintained annually. While the Ecopark Marathon in Ecopark (Hung Yen) is entering its 6th year, Eco Central Park is also beginning to build a community of running enthusiasts amidst nature. The developer plans to officially organize a large-scale running event at Eco Central Park in 2026 to further build a green and healthy living community.
Earlier, on April 30th, the Ecopark developer also organized a kite festival with hundreds of kites decorated by residents and visitors themselves. A record-breaking kite measuring 10m x 14m, after being helped by many families, finally took to the air amidst the cheers of hundreds of attendees.
“My daughter and I busied ourselves making and decorating the kite. I held the kite, she held the string, and we both ran to gain momentum before the kite flew up… It’s been a long time since I’ve seen my daughter so happy,” shared Ms. Tran Ngoc Lan (35 years old, residing on Nguyen Gia Thieu Street, Hung Dung Ward, Vinh City).
Little Hai An, Ms. Lan's daughter, moved from playing with kites to playing in ball pits, inflatable houses, and seesaws... "Even though the children didn't know each other before, after a few hours of playing together, they became as close as if they'd known each other for a long time. Seeing my daughter so lively, cheerful, energetic, making new friends, and learning so much from the series of events is what makes me happiest," Ms. Lan happily shared.
Creating green, sustainable cities and happy communities.
Eco Central Park, a large green park, is the first urban development project by Ecopark's founder in Central Vietnam. Designed with the guiding principle of becoming a green and sustainable city, the project has delivered 600 low-rise houses since its launch in October 2022, attracting thousands of residents. In 2025, Eco Central Park is expected to deliver approximately 1200 houses. Notably, Swan Lake Park, since its opening on April 30, 2023, has become a new destination for residents of Vinh City in particular and Nghe An province in general.
According to the developer's statistics, in the past two years alone, Eco Central Park has successfully organized more than 80 unique entertainment, recreation, and cultural events.
