On May 7, the Investigation Police Agency, Long An Provincial Police Department issued a decision to prosecute the case, prosecute the accused, and temporarily detain 22 subjects to handle the act of "Disturbing public order".

According to the initial investigation, on the evening of April 24, about 30 subjects (aged from 16 to 22, residing in Ben Luc, Tan Tru, Thu Thua districts..., Long An province) rode on 19 motorbikes carrying homemade knives, Japanese swords, sticks, and beer bottles to Hamlet 6, Nhi Thanh commune, Thu Thua district, Long An province to resolve a conflict with another group.

Subjects in 2 groups disturbing public order were prosecuted.

The subjects shouted, revved their engines, cursed, and threw beer bottles at the house of another group member. Upon receiving the report, Nhi Thanh Commune Police arrived at the scene, and the group quickly hid their weapons and fled. After many days of investigation, Long An Provincial Police arrested all the subjects.

The cause of the above public disorder was due to a conflict between Nguyen Nhat Khanh's group (born 2008) and Nguyen Minh Trieu's group (born 2002) and they made an appointment to go to the above area to resolve the matter.

Khang's group invited more people wearing masks, using masks to cover the license plate and went to Khanh's house (Trieu's friend) to cause a disturbance. This area is densely populated and has a bustling business community, so the incident caused outrage among businesses and residents. After causing a disturbance, this group went to look for Trieu's group and was discovered and chased by the patrol team.

Police seized 8 motorbikes, 1 crate of beer bottles, 7 homemade knives and 2 Japanese swords. Long An Provincial Police are clarifying the role of each subject to take action.
