Vinh City regulates jet ski service at Cua Lo beach
In response to people's complaints about unsafe conditions when jet skis enter areas where people swim, the Vinh City People's Committee has issued a document to rectify the situation and is requesting a temporary suspension of jet ski operations by a number of units to complete procedures according to regulations.
Recently, on social networks, many people have reported that taking advantage of the large number of tourists coming to swim at the beach, jet ski service companies on Cua Lo beach have illegally operated jet skis, rushing into the beach to pick up and drop off passengers, weaving and swinging, endangering tourists.
After receiving feedback from tourists and grasping public opinion from social networking sites, Vinh city has established working groups, coordinated with local authorities to organize inspections, rectify and handle violations.

According to research, in Cua Lo beach area, there are 3 businesses with about 9 jet skis serving the entertainment and experience needs of tourists. Before this year's tourist season, Vinh City People's Committee received proposals from 3 businesses to organize services related to jet ski activities at Cua Lo beach.
However, due to not fully meeting the regulations, Vinh city has not agreed to the proposal of the above enterprises.
Mr. Nguyen Quang Vinh - Head of the Department of Culture - Science and Information of Vinh City said: Immediately after receiving information from public opinion, Vinh City requested 3 businesses (Ngoc Bao Kien Company Limited, Dai Duong Tourism Company, Dao Ngoc Company Limited) to stop services related to jet skis at Cua Lo beach when they did not meet the conditions.
Only when businesses resubmit plans to build entry and exit wharves and offshore operating areas, with written permission from the Department of Construction, will the city allow them to resume operations.
If any business continues to violate, the city will direct the authorities to seize the vehicle and impose administrative penalties according to regulations.

Mr. Vinh also said that organizing sports service business activities, including adventure sports such as jet skiing, is very necessary to diversify service types, meeting the needs of experience and exploration of a segment of tourists. However, the provision of these services must ensure that the regulations are followed before they can operate.
It is known that in 2025, Vinh city has deployed many free services in Cua Lo, such as: Free parking, free shower, free public toilets and free wifi, with the desire that everyone can use these services, thereby contributing to promoting the development of Cua Lo tourism.
