Dear compatriots! Greetings to veterans! Greetings to distinguished guests! Soldiers, sailors, sergeants, non-commissioned officers, and warrant officers! Dear comrades generals and admirals!
I congratulate you on the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War!
Today, we all join together in an atmosphere of joy, pride and gratitude, admiring the generation that crushed Nazism and won freedom and peace for all mankind, at the cost of millions of lives.
We absolutely faithfully preserve the memory of these historical events, these great victories. And as the heirs of the legacy of those who made the victory, we celebrate May 9 as our own holiday, the most important holiday of the country, of the entire nation, of each family, of each of our people.
Our fathers' generation defended the Fatherland. And they passed on to us the mission of defending the Fatherland, uniting, firmly defending the national interests, the thousand-year history, culture and traditional values of the country. Everything dear to us, everything is sacred.

We will always take to heart the lessons of World War II and will never tolerate any distortion of this event, nor will we resist attempts to slander those who actually achieved victory.

Our task is to defend the honor of the soldiers and commanders of the Red Army, the great feat of representatives of various nationalities - people who will forever be remembered in world history as Russian soldiers.
Russia has been and will remain an indestructible bulwark against Nazism, Russophobia, and anti-Semitism, and will fight against the atrocities committed by the supporters of aggressive, destructive ideologies.
Truth and justice are always on our side. The whole country, the whole society supports and stands with those who are participating in special military operations. We are proud of their courage and determination. Spiritual strength is what always brings us victory.

Dear friends!
The Soviet Union bore the brunt of the enemy's brutal and merciless attacks. Millions of peace-loving workers took up arms and fought to the death at every hot spot, frontline, and border, deciding the outcome of the entire Second World War by their unconditional victories in the largest battles near Moscow and Stalingrad, on the Kursk Bulge and the Dnieper Rivers; by the courage of the defenders of Belarus - the first to meet the enemy; by the steadfastness of the defenders of the Brest and Mogilev Fortresses, Odessa and Sevastopol, Murmansk, Tula, Smolensk; by the heroism of the people of Leningrad during the siege; by the courage of all those who fought at the front, in the partisan detachments and underground; by the courage of those who evacuated factories under enemy fire, who sacrificed themselves in the rear without sparing their strength.

The Nazi plan to seize the Soviet Union was thwarted by the country's unwavering unity and solidarity. The heroism of the people was immense; all the republics bore the common burden of the war.
The contribution of the people of Central Asia and the Transcaucasia was enormous. From here, trains carried all kinds of supplies to the front without interruption. Hospitals were set up here and hundreds of thousands of evacuees found their second home. They shared shelter, bread and warmth.
We pay tribute to all veterans of the Great Patriotic War, we bow to the sorrowful memory of all those who fell for the Victory. In memory of our fallen sons, daughters, fathers, mothers, grandfathers, grandmothers, husbands, wives, brothers, sisters, relatives, friends.
We bow our heads before our comrades who heroically sacrificed their lives in the just battle for Russia.
A minute of silence begins!

Dear friends!
Nearly 80% of the world's population was caught up in the violent orbit of World War II.
The complete defeat of Nazi Germany, Japanese militarists and their satellites in various parts of the world was achieved, through the joint efforts of the member states of the United Nations.
We will always remember that the opening of the second front in Europe - after decisive battles on Soviet territory - brought Victory closer. We highly value the contribution to the common struggle of the soldiers of the Allied armies, the participants of the resistance and the brave Chinese people. All those who fought for a peaceful future.

Dear friends!
We will continue to admire our veterans, their sincere love for their homeland, their determination to protect their homeland, their humane values and justice. Let us continue these great traditions and legacies, which are most important in our hearts, and pass them on to future generations.
We will always rely on consistency in military and peace matters, in achieving strategic goals, in solving problems in the name of Russia, its greatness and prosperity.
Glory to the people. Glory to the victory!
Happy Holidays!
Happy Great Victory Day!
Acclaim!
