Nghe An Provincial Inspectorate commends advanced models
On the afternoon of May 16, the Provincial Inspectorate held a conference on typical advanced models of the Nghe An Provincial Inspectorate for the period 2020-2025.
Attending the conference were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Bui Thanh An - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ho Le Ngoc - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee. Also attending were representatives of departments, branches, districts, cities and towns in the province.

With the spirit of "Solidarity - Discipline - Responsibility - Efficiency", the patriotic emulation movement in the whole industry has had many clear changes, going into depth, closely linked to the political tasks of each agency and unit.
Inspection work is increasingly effective and practical, with drastic and synchronous implementation of many specific solutions such as: Effectively implementing the construction of inspection plans, reviewing and handling duplication in inspection; strengthening the inspection of the responsibility of unit heads in law enforcement in conjunction with the inspection of the performance of public duties and tasks of cadres, civil servants and public employees.
In the past 5 years, the whole industry has conducted 1,557 administrative inspections and 5,286 specialized inspections, detecting violations of more than 431.7 billion VND and 480.2 hectares of land of all kinds. Thereby, decisions were issued to recover 256.0 billion VND and 154.7 hectares of land; recommendations for other handling of 125.7 billion VND and 325.4 hectares of land; administrative handling of 5,031 organizations and 5,523 individuals; and transfer of 9 cases to investigation agencies.
The work of receiving citizens and handling complaints and denunciations has been strengthened and deepened, focusing on resolving outstanding and long-standing complaints and denunciations. The work of preventing and combating corruption has shifted from passive to proactive, and solutions to prevent corruption and negativity have been fully and synchronously implemented.
Through the emulation movement, there have appeared more and more exemplary collectives and individuals, examples of cadres who are "both red and professional", dedicated to their profession, devoted to their work and to the people.
Speaking at the conference, on behalf of the provincial leaders, Comrade Bui Thanh An - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and commended the general achievements of the Inspection sector and commended typical examples in the patriotic emulation movement of the Inspection sector.
Replicating and creating positive spread of typical examples
Deploying tasks in the coming time, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Provincial Inspectorate to focus on promoting and improving the quality of patriotic emulation movements, considering this an important driving force to mobilize the combined strength of the entire political system, of each cadre, civil servant, and employee of the Inspectorate in successfully carrying out assigned political tasks.
At the same time, improving inspection efficiency is closely linked to perfecting the organization and building a strong industry team. Continuing to seriously and effectively implement the Law on Inspection and its guiding documents; at the same time, focusing on advising on the development and promulgation of State management documents in the inspection field.
The Inspectorate needs to focus on building its staff, consolidating its organizational structure, improving the professional qualifications, technical skills and working capacity of inspectors; Continuously improving the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of inspection activities, contributing to tightening discipline and administrative order.
At the same time, proactively reorganize the Inspection sector's apparatus towards streamlining, effectiveness and efficiency in accordance with Conclusion No. 134-KL/TW dated March 28, 2025 of the Politburo, Secretariat and Decision No. 755/QD-TTg dated April 13, 2025 of the Prime Minister.
According to comrade Bui Thanh An, inspection activities need to be implemented with focus, key points, closely following the direction of the Government Inspectorate and in accordance with the practical situation; focusing on areas with potential risks of corruption, negativity, and waste; promptly conducting surprise inspections when there are signs of law violations.
Continue to innovate in the development and implementation of inspection plans; minimize overlap and duplication of inspection teams at a unit or locality in the same year. Increase the application of science and technology in inspection activities and strictly implement relevant legal regulations.
At the same time, the Inspection sector needs to seriously organize the implementation of inspection conclusions and post-inspection handling decisions; strengthen solutions to improve the effectiveness of post-inspection handling, both in terms of economics, assets and administrative handling. Strengthen close coordination between inspection, examination, auditing agencies and internal affairs agencies, in order to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of inspection work; closely link inspection activities with the work of preventing and combating corruption, negativity and waste.
At the same time, strengthen the work of receiving citizens, handling complaints and denunciations, stabilizing the situation to serve the Party Congress and important events well. Strengthen inspection, urging, and directing the synchronous and drastic implementation of policies and legal regulations on receiving citizens, handling petitions, complaints and denunciations; limit the emergence of hot spots, complicated and crowded incidents. Resolutely and strictly handle irresponsible acts and violations in receiving citizens and handling complaints and denunciations, especially cases where hot spots occur due to prolonged complaints and denunciations.
In addition, the sector needs to focus on receiving citizens, resolving complaints and denunciations to serve Party Congresses at all levels, especially for cases related to personnel work. Continue to review, inspect and advise on solutions to thoroughly handle outstanding and prolonged complaints and denunciations; seriously and promptly implement conclusions and decisions on settlement, limiting the situation of re-complaints and re-accusations.
Effectively implement and enhance the effectiveness of anti-corruption and anti-negativity work: Continue to organize the synchronous, timely and effective implementation of directives, resolutions, conclusions, guidelines, policies and laws on anti-corruption and anti-negativity; pay attention to promoting internal inspection and examination work to prevent, detect and promptly and strictly handle corruption and negativity cases.
The Inspection sector needs to promote digital transformation and comprehensively modernize inspection work: using digital platforms and big data technology in analysis, risk assessment, and violation prediction. Deploying an electronic inspection system, integrating synchronous databases with financial, land, and judicial agencies, etc. At the same time, enhancing information security, data safety, and ensuring legal principles in the network environment.
"In the coming time, with the new organizational model of the Provincial Inspectorate in the direction of being streamlined, strong, effective, efficient, and effective, along with promoting the positive and outstanding results of the emulation movement in the past time, expanding and creating a positive spread of today's typical examples, I believe that the cadres and civil servants of the Nghe An Provincial Inspectorate will continue to uphold the spirit of responsibility, constantly innovate, be creative, compete to achieve many new achievements, contributing to building an honest, serving, and people-oriented government," emphasized Permanent Vice Chairman Bui Thanh An.
On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 10 collectives and 10 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the Law on Anti-Corruption; 10 collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the Law on Citizen Reception. The Chief Inspector of Nghe An province awarded Certificates of Merit to exemplary collectives and individuals in the period 2020-2025.
