Fishermen in Nghe An province are in the jellyfish fishing season.

In mid-May, in the coastal areas of Nghe An province, many fishing boats took advantage of the opportunity to go out to sea to catch jellyfish – a seasonal seafood species, usually appearing from April to June. With a selling price of around 40,000 VND per fish at the dock, each boat can earn several million VND after a night of fishing. Boat owner Hoang Van Hau from Quynh Lap commune said that in just about 5 hours, his boat caught 120 fish, earning over 5 million VND. Photo: TP
