Four doctors prosecuted for allegedly buying or selling medical licenses.
The Dak Lak Provincial Police have decided to prosecute the suspects for the crime of "Giving bribes" that occurred in 2018 at the Central Highlands Regional General Hospital.
On May 17th, a source reported that the Dak Lak Provincial Police have initiated a criminal case and charged the defendants with "Giving bribes" in connection with the "illegibility" of medical practice certificates that occurred in 2018 at the Central Highlands Regional General Hospital.

The defendants charged with "Giving bribes" include Le Anh Tai (born in 1978, from Hue City), Hua Chi Cuong (born in 1981, from Ho Chi Minh City), Huynh Van Binh (born in 1970, from Lam Dong province), and Huynh Thanh Giau (born in 1976, from Dong Thap province). All four are general practitioners.
Previously, in 2018, after seeing content posted on Facebook advertising "Assistance in obtaining medical practice certificates," Hua Chi Cuong, Huynh Van Binh, Huynh Thanh Giau, and Le Anh Tai contacted the intermediary and were given the phone number to obtain their practice certificates.
By February 2018, the four individuals were also processed for import into Buon Don district because all four were from other provinces or cities.
Subsequently, all four doctors received certificates of practice from the Central Highlands Regional General Hospital. Once they received these certificates, in 2019, the files of Binh, Cuong, Tai, and Giau were submitted to the one-stop service department of the Dak Lak Department of Health to request professional practice licenses.
