Comrade Nguyen Nam Dinh met with voters of Thanh Chuong district.
On the afternoon of May 23, at Thanh Tien commune, the provincial People's Council delegates: Nguyen Nam Dinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and Tran Thi Thanh Huyen - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Dai Dong commune (Thanh Chuong district) had a meeting with voters of the communes: Thanh Lien, Thanh Tien, Cat Van, Phong Thinh, Minh Son, Thanh Son, Thanh Duc, Hanh Lam.
Attending the meeting with voters were comrade Nguyen Hai Duong - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Thanh Chuong district, and leaders of specialized units at the district level.

At the conference, voters listened to Provincial People's Council delegate Tran Thi Thanh Huyen report on the expected content and agenda of the mid-year 2025 regular session of the 18th Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026; the socio-economic situation of the province in the first months of the year and tasks and solutions for the last months of the year; results of handling Thanh Chuong voters' petitions before, during and after the regular session at the end of 2024 - session 25.

Next, voters expressed their thoughts, aspirations and proposals, and recommended the Central Government, the province, and localities to remove some shortcomings and difficulties related to investment in infrastructure construction; policies for cadres and non-professional workers in communes; and security and order.
Voter Tran Dinh Son (Thanh Tien commune) proposed that the Provincial People's Council should pay attention to proposing more effective solutions in the fight against commercial fraud, counterfeit and poor quality goods, and ensuring security and preventing online fraud crimes.

Voter Nguyen Hoang Hung (Thanh Tien commune) reported that the Thanh Tien commune headquarters has been built with a completion volume of more than 70% and is currently being stopped to implement the arrangement of commune-level administrative units. He requested the Provincial People's Council to have a policy to continue investing in constructed works with a completion volume of 70% or more to avoid waste and to implement the conversion of purpose and function after the commune merger.

Along with this content, voter Nguyen Hoang Hung also recommended that the province soon have regulations on the starting land price framework according to the new Land Law, to serve as a basis for auctioning land use rights and compensation for site clearance.

The issue that some voters are concerned about is related to the inadequacy in implementing policies for people who voluntarily retire before the age when arranging the organizational apparatus; beneficiaries under Decree No. 29 and beneficiaries under Decree No. 178, creating policy inequality in implementing a common policy.
Some voters also reflected and proposed that the province pay attention to investing in some works serving people's lives, especially some traffic routes, Lam River dikes...

Explains many contents
At the end of the meeting with voters, comrade Nguyen Nam Dinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council fully received the opinions, reflections and proposals of voters; at the same time, explained a number of specific issues under his authority.
Thanking voters for their opinions, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council also affirmed: In the upcoming regular session in mid-2025, the Provincial People's Council will include in the program and content the tasks and solutions to fight more fiercely against the production and trading of counterfeit and poor-quality goods and violations of food safety and hygiene; tighten management and fight more effectively against online fraud.

In addition, comrade Nguyen Nam Dinh also requested that sectors and localities increase propaganda and that each citizen himself needs to raise awareness and vigilance against scams on social networks and trading in poor quality goods.

Comrade Nguyen Nam Dinh also acknowledged the shortcomings and shared the disadvantages of officials and civil servants who retired early in the previous period according to Decree No. 29; at the same time, he emphasized the responsibility of the province to reflect and recommend the Central Government to study and resolve.
Regarding unfinished investment projects, the Provincial People's Council will recommend the Provincial People's Committee to review and have appropriate solutions to promote project efficiency and avoid wasting resources.
