Central Policy and Strategy Committee offers incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh

On the morning of May 31, on the occasion of the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday, the Central Policy and Strategy Committee visited and offered incense and flowers at the Kim Lien Special National Relic Site (Nam Dan).

Offering flowers and incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh, on behalf of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee, there were comrades: Nguyen Thuy Anh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Committee; Nguyen Duy Hung - Deputy Head of the Committee. Also attending were officers and staff of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee.

On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrades: Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Hoang Phu Hien - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, the Provincial Party Committee Office, and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

President Ho Chi Minh has passed away, but his great career and noble example will live forever with the country of Vietnam. At the Kim Lien National Special Relic Site, on behalf of the delegation, Comrade Nguyen Thuy Anh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Commission, offered flowers and incense to express her infinite gratitude and deep respect for President Ho Chi Minh, the great leader of our Party and People, Hero of National Liberation, Founder and Trainer of the Communist Party of Vietnam, who devoted and sacrificed his whole life to the cause of national liberation, fighting for peace and happiness of the Vietnamese people and people of the world.

On this occasion, the delegation visited Chung Son Temple, offered flowers and incense to commemorate the ancestors of President Ho Chi Minh.

Also on the morning of May 31, the delegation of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee visited and offered flowers and incense at Truong Bon National Historical Site, My Son Commune, Do Luong District, Nghe An.

During the years of resistance against the US to save the country, Truong Bon land suffered nearly 19,000 bombs of all kinds and tens of thousands of missiles. From June to October 1968 alone, nearly 2,700 bombs of all kinds were dropped on this land. Also here, 1,240 cadres and soldiers fought bravely and sacrificed heroically, including the tragic sacrifice of 13 youth volunteers of Company 317 on October 31, 1968, right before the US imperialists were forced to stop bombing the North at 0:00 on November 1, 1968, leaving behind an inconsolable grief that forever touched people's hearts.

With deep affection and gratitude, comrade Nguyen Thuy Anh and the delegation of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee, together with the leaders of Nghe An province, respectfully offered flowers, bowed and lit incense to express their respect and infinite gratitude to the heroic martyrs at the mass grave of 13 heroic martyrs and the Memorial House of 1,240 heroic martyrs at Truong Bon National Historical Site.
