Sleeper bus bursts into flames on highway.

A sleeper bus burst into flames on the highway, causing passengers to panic and try to escape.

At noon on June 2nd, a sleeper bus with license plate 37H-086.xx belonging to Hai Binh bus company, operating on the Nghe An - Hanoi route, suddenly burst into flames while traveling on the highway in Thanh Hoa province.

According to initial information, the bus was moving normally when the driver noticed smoke rising from under the vehicle through the rearview mirror. Immediately, the driver quickly pulled the bus to the side of the road to allow passengers to evacuate safely. However, due to the rapid spread of the fire, a large amount of passengers' goods and luggage were severely damaged.

Immediately after receiving the report, the authorities arrived at the scene to extinguish the fire, direct traffic, and minimize prolonged congestion.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
