Nghe An Provincial Journalists Association: Many meaningful activities to celebrate 100 years of Vietnam revolutionary journalism
On the afternoon of June 3, the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Journalists Association held an expanded June conference of the Executive Committee of Nghe An Provincial Journalists Association, term VIII, 2020 - 2025.
Attending the conference were comrades: Tran Minh Ngoc - Director of the Provincial Radio and Television Station, Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association; Ho Thi Ngan - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association; Ngo Duc Kien - Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association; and comrades in the Executive Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Journalists Association, term VIII, 2020 - 2025.
Also attending the conference was comrade Nguyen Ba Hao - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
At the conference, delegates listened to and discussed the implementation of activities for the third quarter of 2025. The focus was on implementing activities to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day and the 40th anniversary of the founding of the Nghe An Journalists Association.
To celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, press agencies produced many exchange programs, seminars, documentaries, reports, and articles about the formation and development process of Nghe An press associated with the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the Nghe An Journalists Association.
Specifically, the association will publish a special issue of June - a special issue with outstanding works; organize an exhibition to display and introduce the achievements of 100 years of Vietnam Revolutionary Press, the achievements of the Provincial Press associated with important events of the country and the province; organize football exchanges; organize Pickleball tournaments between press agencies, journalist associations, and press management agencies in the province.
In addition, the Association will organize for the Executive Committee, leaders of press agencies, and outstanding members to offer incense at Uncle Ho's hometown; visit and give gifts to former leaders of the Association, retired leaders of newspapers and radio stations, and members in difficult circumstances or with serious illnesses.
In addition, this month will take place the 100th Anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025), the 40th Anniversary of Nghe An Journalists Association and the 2024 Nghe An Press Award.
Celebrating the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Journalists Association and the Nghe An Provincial Journalists Association will Participate with the Emulation Cluster of Journalists Associations in the North Central region to display a booth at the National Press Festival, held in Hanoi from June 19-21, 2025.
Concluding the conference, comrade Tran Minh Ngoc - Director of Nghe An Radio and Television Station, Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association assigned clear and specific responsibilities and required units to coordinate closely, perform well their tasks according to their functions, duties and regulations, ensuring quality and efficiency.
