The President awarded the Third Class Labor Medal to Do Luong, Dien Chau, Nam Dan districts and 1 individual in Nghe An.
In Decision 1122/QD-CTN dated June 21, 2025, the President decided to award the Third Class Labor Medal to 3 collectives and 1 individual of Nghe An province.
Accordingly, the President awarded the Third Class Labor Medal to 3 collectives including: Party Committee, Government, People of Do Luong, Dien Chau, Nam Dan districts and 1 individual, Mr. Nguyen Van Hang - Deputy Chief of the Coordination Office of the National Target Program on New Rural Construction of Nghe An province.
The above collectives and individuals have had outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas" in the period of 2021-2025, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland".
Nam Dan district was recognized by the Prime Minister as meeting the new rural standards in 2017. Immediately after meeting the district-level new rural standards, with the attention and support of the Central and the province, Nam Dan immediately started implementing the criteria for the district to meet the advanced new rural standards. In Decision No. 921/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister recognized Nam Dan district to meet the advanced new rural standards in 2024.
According to the decisions of the Prime Minister, Do Luong district has been recognized as meeting the new rural standards in 2022 in Decision No. 1370/QD-TTg, dated November 15, 2023; Dien Chau district has met the new rural district standards in 2023 according to Decision No. 173/QD-TTg, dated February 7, 2024.
On the afternoon of June 22, the Government held a national online conference to review the National Target Program on New Rural Development, the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction, the Movement "The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas", and the Movement "For the poor - No one is left behind" for the 2021-2025 period.
Implementing the National Target Program on New Rural Construction, up to now, Nghe An province has 275/362 communes meeting the standards (75.97%), of which 102/275 communes meet the advanced NTM standards (37.09%); 16 communes meet the model NTM standards (5.81%); 10 district-level units have completed their tasks/met the new rural standards; 1 district has met the advanced new rural standards (Nam Dan district).
