Caught red-handed transporting 2,000 pink pills from across the border to Nghe An
Authorities caught Va Xia Sua, residing in Tri Le commune, Que Phong district, red-handed while he was illegally transporting drugs from Laos to Vietnam.
Accordingly, at 12:30 on June 22, at Tam Tien village, Chau Thon commune, Que Phong district, the Northern Drug and Crime Prevention Task Force (Team 1), the Drug and Crime Prevention Department - Border Guard, the Drug and Crime Prevention Department, Hanh Dich Border Guard Station (Nghe An Border Guard) co-chaired and coordinated with the Tri Le Commune Police, Que Phong district to arrest the subject Va Xia Sua (born in 1966, residing in Muong Long village, Tri Le commune, Que Phong district), while illegally transporting drugs from across the border to Vietnam for consumption.
At the scene, authorities seized 10 packages of synthetic drugs and about 2,000 ecstasy pills.
Through investigation, the subject confessed to transporting the above drugs from across the border to Vietnam for consumption. Currently, the authorities are continuing to complete the investigation file and expand the case for handling according to the provisions of the law.
