People's Artist Xuan Bac takes on additional responsibilities.

At the First Congress of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MOCST), term 2025-2030, Mr. Chu Dinh Dong - Member of the Executive Committee, Deputy Head of the Organization Department of the Government Party Committee - announced the decision of the Standing Committee of the Government Party Committee on the appointment of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the MOCST for the term 2025-2030.

Among the 32 members of the new Executive Committee is People's Artist Xuan Bac, Director of the Department of Performing Arts.

Participating in the Congress as a representative of the Party Branch of the Department of Performing Arts, People's Artist Xuan Bac presented a paper on the topic:"Promoting the pioneering role of performing arts in building the Vietnamese people of the new era, preserving identity, spreading values, and inspiring creativity.".

People's Artist Xuan Bac affirmed that performing arts in the 2020-2025 term have undergone many significant transformations. The Department of Performing Arts has proactively advised and proposed decrees and circulars to perfect the legal framework, creating conditions for artistic creation to develop in the right direction, while still ensuring the role of state management.

Ông đặc biệt nhấn mạnh: "Art is not only a means of expression, but also a flame of thought, a thread connecting the hearts of the people with the soul of the nation."

Theo NSND Xuân Bắc, các chương trình nghệ thuật chính luận trong những ngày lễ lớn, sự kiện chính trị – đối ngoại đều mang trong mình tầm vóc quốc gia, chiều sâu văn hóa và sức lan tỏa xã hội, góp phần khẳng định nghệ thuật biểu diễn là “mũi nhọn mềm” trong chiến lược phát triển văn hóa, con người Việt Nam.

NSND Xuân Bắc đánh giá giai đoạn phát triển mạnh mẽ nhất của nghệ thuật biểu diễn chính là từ năm 2024 đến đầu năm 2025, khi nhiều chương trình quy mô lớn, do các đơn vị Việt Nam tổ chức, đã chạm tới đẳng cấp khu vực.

"Những đêm diễn đong đầy cảm xúc, cả biển người như vỡ òa, hòa chung giai điệu của những ca khúc thấm đẫm hồn văn hóa Việt. Cả biển người lặng đi với nốt trầm và bùng nổ cao trào với nốt thăng của mỗi tiết mục biểu diễn trên sân khấu cùng các nghệ sĩ. Chúng ta đã có những chương trình với công nghệ, âm thanh, ánh sáng quy mô tới mức bạn bè quốc tế phải ngưỡng mộ”, ông nói.

Không tập trung nói về khó khăn, Cục trưởng Xuân Bắc nhấn mạnh tinh thần “không khó khăn nào không thể vượt qua” khi có sự lãnh đạo đúng đắn của Đảng và Nhà nước. Ông cam kết trong nhiệm kỳ mới, Cục Nghệ thuật biểu diễn sẽ chủ động, sáng tạo và quyết liệt hơn nữa, để đưa văn hóa nghệ thuật thực sự trở thành dòng chảy nuôi dưỡng tinh thần dân tộc, góp phần khẳng định vị thế Việt Nam trên bản đồ văn hóa quốc tế.

NSND Xuân Bắc được bổ nhiệm giữ chức Cục trưởng Cục Nghệ thuật biểu diễn vào tháng 10/2024, sau thời gian đảm nhiệm vị trí Giám đốc Nhà hát Kịch Việt Nam từ tháng 1/2021.
