New communes and wards of Thanh Hoa expected to have North-South high-speed railway passing through
The North-South high-speed railway project through Thanh Hoa province, about 95.33 km long (from Km 113+800 to Km 209+130), will pass through 18 new communes and wards.
According to the decision of Resolution 172/2024/QH15 and the newspapers, the route passes through the areas of 7 districts, towns and cities; specifically including:
7 wards: Quang Trung, Bim Son, Ham Rong, Dong Tien, Dong Son, Dong Quang and Truc Lam;
11 communes: Hoat Giang, Ha Trung, Trieu Loc, Hoang Phu, Hoang Giang, Trung Chinh, Thang Loi, Nong Cong, Thang Binh, Cong Chinh and Truong Lam
Land acquisition area and resettlement scale
The project requires the acquisition of a total of nearly 573 hectares of land, including more than 91.5 hectares of residential land and 481.4 hectares of agricultural land and other land. According to statistics from the Railway Project Management Board, about 2,107 households along with 41 facilities such as schools, administrative agencies and businesses will need to be relocated or resettled.
Thanh Hoa province has planned to build 39 resettlement areas in 16 communes and wards, with a total area of about 300 hectares and a total investment of VND3,873 billion.
Resettlement areas in communes and wards after completing the two-level local government where the high-speed railway passes through are as follows:
Section through Bim Son ward: Arrange a resettlement area with a scale of 3.0 hectares, estimated construction cost of about 50 billion VND.
The section passing through Ha Trung commune will arrange 5 resettlement areas with a scale of 24.64 hectares, with an estimated construction cost of about 244.9 billion VND.
The section passing through Trieu Loc commune will arrange 2 resettlement areas with a scale of 15.8 hectares, with an estimated construction cost of about 157 billion VND.
The section passing through Hoang Phu commune will arrange 5 resettlement areas with a scale of 16.26 hectares, with an estimated construction cost of about 161.6 billion VND.
The section passing through Hoang Giang commune will arrange 3 resettlement areas with a scale of 10.45 hectares; estimated construction cost is about 103.8 billion VND.
The section passing through Ham Rong ward will arrange 2 resettlement areas with a scale of 47.61 hectares; estimated construction cost is about 793.9 billion VND.
The section passing through Dong Tien ward will arrange 2 resettlement areas with a scale of 17.54 hectares; estimated construction cost is about 292.5 billion VND.
The section passing through Dong Son ward will arrange a Dong Tan resettlement area with a scale of 17.79 hectares; estimated construction cost is about 296.6 billion VND.
The section passing through Dong Quang ward will arrange 3 resettlement areas with a scale of 37.05 hectares; estimated construction cost is about 617.8 billion VND.
The section passing through Trung Chinh commune will arrange 3 resettlement areas with a scale of 20.98 hectares; estimated construction cost is about 208.5 billion VND.
The section passing through Thang Loi commune will arrange 2 resettlement areas with a scale of 20.98 hectares; estimated construction cost is about 116.4 billion VND.
The section passing through Nong Cong commune will arrange 2 resettlement areas with a scale of 21.02 hectares; estimated construction cost is about 208.9 billion VND.
The section passing through Thang Binh commune will arrange a resettlement area with a scale of 8.81 hectares; estimated construction cost is about 87.5 billion VND.
The section passing through Cong Chinh commune will arrange 3 resettlement areas with a scale of 24.08 hectares; estimated construction cost is about 239.2 billion VND.
The section passing through Truc Lam ward will arrange 02 resettlement areas with a scale of 2.6 hectares; estimated construction cost is about 43.4 billion VND.
The section passing through Truong Lam commune will arrange 2 resettlement areas with a scale of 7.8 hectares; estimated construction cost is about 130.1 billion VND.
