Fishermen in Cua Lo strike it rich with scad fish, earning 150 million VND.
After a night at sea, a fisherman from Cua Lo ward caught a large haul of scad fish, worth approximately 200 million VND.

On the morning of July 14th, the fishing boat of fisherman Nguyen Van Duong from Cua Lo ward (Yen Son block, formerly Nghi Thuy ward) docked at Cua Lo port, bringing in 9 tons of seafood.
The ship departed on the afternoon of July 13th, fishing in the waters off Mat Island, currently in the peak fishing season of the year. Thanks to favorable weather and abundant fishing grounds, this trip yielded a high catch for the 20 crew members on board.
From early morning, as soon as the boats docked, traders were already present, ready to buy up every batch of fresh fish brought ashore. Accordingly, 6 tons of mackerel and 3 tons of other fish were sold right at the dock, generating over 150 million VND in revenue.

In particular, recognizing and commending the fishermen's efforts to stay at sea, the leaders of Cua Lo ward directly presented a commendation flag to the fishing boat of Mr. Nguyen Van Duong right at the pier.
This is a timely form of encouragement, demonstrating the deep concern of the local government for fishermen who are working day and night at sea, contributing to the preservation of marine resources and the sacred sovereignty of the nation's seas and islands.
