"Saturday for the People": Streamlining administrative procedures at wards and communes in Nghe An province.
"Saturday for the People" is organized by several localities in Nghe An province to support people in resolving administrative procedures quickly and conveniently, affirming the spirit of serving the people of the local government.

On July 19, 2025, several localities in Nghe An province mobilized officials and civil servants to handle administrative procedures for citizens. This was the first "Saturday for the People" activity after the implementation of the two-tiered local government system.
On the morning of July 19th, at the Cua Lo Ward Public Administrative Service Center, more than 200 people visited to conduct transactions and complete administrative procedures related to social retirement benefits under Government Decree No. 176, dated June 30, 2025, and to receive the results of these procedures.

Tran Xuan Vinh, Deputy Director of the Public Administrative Service Center of Cua Lo Ward, shared: "This activity both reduces the waiting pressure for people during regular working days and eases the workload of officials and civil servants in receiving and processing documents on normal days."
In particular, pensioners, most of whom are elderly and have difficulty traveling, can benefit from having their retirement activities scheduled on a Saturday, making it easier for their children to take advantage of the day off to drop off and pick up their parents and grandparents.

In addition to handling administrative procedures related to social welfare benefits, the Cua Lo Ward Public Administrative Service Center also provides results for administrative procedures to citizens without requiring them to wait until the scheduled date. This facilitates citizens in obtaining legal documents quickly for other civil transactions and reduces the pressure of waiting on administrative working days.
This initiative demonstrates the efforts and dedication of the Cua Lo ward government in shortening the time required to process administrative procedures and providing quick and convenient services to the people.

In addition to the responsibilities of officials and civil servants at the public administrative service center, Cua Lo ward mobilized dozens of officials, civil servants, union members, and staff to assist and guide people in filling out and submitting online applications, receiving and processing applications according to regulations.

Along with Cua Lo ward, today, several other communes and wards, including Tan Chau, Van An, Tam Hop, Hung Chau, Quan Thanh, and Hoang Mai, also organized the "Saturday for the People" activity.

For Hung Chau commune, the Commune Public Administrative Service Center has mobilized additional support from officials and civil servants of the Commune People's Committee Office, along with the Youth Union's information technology support team, to receive and assist people in completing all types of administrative procedures under the commune's authority, focusing on land procedures, business registration, tax registration, authentication procedures, civil registration, social welfare, etc.

"Saturday for the People" not only contributes to improving the efficiency of administrative reform, but also spreads the spirit of dedicated service, closeness to the people, and serving the people of all levels of government in Nghe An.
