The delegation from the Office of the People's Committee of Nghe An province offered incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs in Quang Tri.
On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the Day of War Invalids and Martyrs (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), on July 19, a delegation from the Office of the People's Committee of Nghe An province visited and offered flowers and incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at Truong Son National Martyrs Cemetery, Duong 9 National Martyrs Cemetery, Quang Tri Ancient Citadel, and Vinh Linh Cemetery (Quang Tri province).
The delegation included members of the Provincial Party Committee: Nguyen Van De - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Phung Thanh Vinh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Dang Thanh Tung - Chief of the Provincial People's Committee Office; along with leaders and staff from departments and units under the Provincial People's Committee Office.


The Truong Son National Martyrs Cemetery covers an area of 14 hectares, located on Ben Tat hill, Con Tien commune, Quang Tri province. It is the resting place of more than 10,200 martyrs from main army units, local troops, militia, and volunteer youth who served in combat on various fronts during the anti-American war for national liberation. Among them, nearly 1,300 martyrs from Nghe An province are buried here.

The Truong Son National Martyrs Cemetery is a shining symbol of revolutionary heroism, of the spirit and will to fight for independence and the aspiration for peace of our people.
In a solemn atmosphere, the delegation from the Office of the People's Committee of Nghe An province respectfully offered flowers and incense to express their deep remembrance, gratitude, and honor to the beloved sons and daughters from all over the country, including those from Nghe An, who bravely sacrificed their lives and blood on the Truong Son mountain range for the cause of national liberation.




On the same day, a delegation of officials from the Provincial People's Committee Office organized a ceremony to lay flowers and offer incense in commemoration of the heroic martyrs at the National Martyrs Cemetery on Highway 9 (Dong Ha Ward, Quang Tri Province).

The National Martyrs' Cemetery on Highway 9 is the resting place of more than 10,800 martyrs, including regular army soldiers, local troops, militia, and volunteer youth who fought and served on the Highway 9 front and in neighboring Laos throughout the resistance war against the US, including about 200 martyrs from Nghe An province.


Also on July 19th, a delegation of officials from the Provincial People's Committee Office organized a ceremony to lay flowers and offer incense in commemoration of the heroic martyrs at Vinh Linh Martyrs' Cemetery and Quang Tri Citadel Martyrs' Cemetery.
