Evidence of this is that the two largest teacher training universities in the country, Hanoi University of Education and Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, have both expanded their entrance exams, and the number of applicants has surged compared to last year.
Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Duc Son, Rector of Hanoi Pedagogical University, shared that, as of now, the number of students who won national-level academic awards (third prize or higher) and applied to the university and met the admission requirements has reached over 500. This number is significantly higher than the approximately 300 students last year, and only about 100 students enrolled directly.
