Striker Dinh Bac: We have studied the Indonesian U23 team very carefully and are ready for the final.

Striker Nguyen Dinh Bac said that the whole team had thoroughly studied the Indonesian U23 team and were ready for the final match of the Southeast Asian U23 Championship.

On the evening of July 27th, the Vietnam U23 team returned to training after a day off to prepare for the 2025 Southeast Asian U23 Championship final against Indonesia U23. This marks the third consecutive time the "Golden Star Warriors" have reached the final match, aiming for a hat-trick of Southeast Asian championship titles.

Speaking before training, striker Nguyen Dinh Bac expressed confidence in the team's preparation: "This is an important final match. The whole team is in a relaxed mood and well-prepared."

Regarding the upcoming final match, which will utilize VAR technology, Dinh Bac highly appreciates the fairness that the technology brings: "VAR will bring fairness to both teams. This match is very important and requires transparency. The whole team will focus entirely on winning."

For the striker from Nghe An, after the semi-final match which didn't meet expectations, he is determined to redeem himself in the biggest game of the tournament: "I think I'm well-prepared to return. If given the opportunity, I will fight my hardest for the national team."

Assessing their Indonesian opponents, the home team is in impressive form, and Dinh Bac didn't shy away from admitting: "They prepared very well. We also analyzed their strengths and will try our best to do our part."

When asked about the specific strengths of the opponent, Dinh Bac emphasized: "The Indonesian players are all high-quality. Therefore, the Vietnam U23 team needs to go onto the field with the utmost determination and passion."

The pressure from the stands at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium can be a nightmare for many youth teams, but Dinh Bac affirmed that the Vietnam U23 team is not intimidated: "Many of my teammates have played in stadiums with large capacities. We are used to the pressure. The whole team will play their best to bring glory to the Fatherland."

Frankly acknowledging his finishing shortcomings, Dinh Bac didn't shy away from admitting to missed opportunities: "The next two training sessions will be for improving my finishing. In the recent matches, I've missed many chances. Now is the time to regain my scoring touch and prepare thoroughly for the final."

Finally, Dinh Bac didn't forget to send a message to his fans back home: "I hope everyone will continue to follow and cheer on the whole team in the upcoming match."

The final match of the Southeast Asian U23 Championship will take place at 8 PM on July 29th./.
