Congress of Delegates of the Party Committee of the People's Procuracy of Nghe An province, term 2025 - 2030
On the afternoon of July 29, the Party Committee of the People's Procuracy of Nghe An province held the 1st Congress of Delegates, term 2025 - 2030.
Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Party agencies attended and directed the congress.
Unity
During the 2020 - 2025 term, promoting the leadership role of the Party Committee, Party cell committees, the exemplary vanguard, solidarity and collaboration of the Party members, the Provincial People's Procuracy Party Committee has led and directed the basic completion of the set goals and tasks, creating an important and quite comprehensive change in the leadership of political tasks and Party building work.
The leadership method has many innovations, focusing on problems that are entangled and arising from practice; at the same time, selecting key tasks and solutions with breakthroughs at each time to focus on leadership. The leadership capacity, fighting strength of the Party organization, and the quality of Party members have been gradually improved; the targets and tasks set out in the Resolution of the Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term have basically been achieved and exceeded.
The Party Committee has led agencies and mass organizations to excellently complete their tasks; built clean and strong agencies and Party Committees, contributing to maintaining political security and social order and safety in the area.
The efforts and struggles of the Party Committee and the agency have been recognized and awarded many titles by the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Bloc, now the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the superior sector: The Party Committee of the Provincial People's Procuracy in 2020, 2021, 2022 was classified as Excellently completing the task; in 2023, 2024 it was classified as Goodly completing the task.
In terms of expertise, in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, the Provincial People's Procuracy has always been recognized by the Emulation Council of the People's Procuracy with the title of "Excellent Labor Collective" and awarded the "Emulation Flag of the People's Procuracy" (in which, in 2021, it was awarded the Emulation Flag of the Government; in 2022, it was awarded the Emulation Flag of the Provincial People's Committee); In 2022, the Provincial People's Procuracy was recognized as a typical "Cultural Standard Agency" for 5 years (2017-2021). All mass organizations are classified by superiors as having fulfilled their tasks well or better.
For the 2025 - 2030 term, the 1st Congress of the Provincial People's Procuracy Party Committee set out the following goals: Building a clean and strong Party Committee; solidarity, unity, improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization, strictly implementing the Party's organizational and operational principles; building a contingent of cadres and Party members, especially leaders with sufficient qualities, capacity and prestige, equal to the tasks; continuing to promote the application of information technology and digital transformation in operations, successfully completing assigned political tasks, making an important contribution to building a clean and strong Nghe An Provincial People's Procuracy Party Committee.
The Congress also set out 11 main targets, 5 regular tasks and solutions, 4 key tasks and breakthroughs.
Promote qualities, abilities and prestige
Speaking at the congress, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of the Provincial Party Committee praised the achievements and contributions of generations of cadres, party members, civil servants and employees of the Provincial People's Procuracy during the past term.
The Provincial People's Procuracy has made continuous efforts, overcome many difficulties and challenges, excellently completed assigned tasks, and made important contributions to maintaining political security, social order and safety, protecting socialist legality and the legitimate rights of the people in the province.
Assessing the results of the implementation of the tasks for the 2020 - 2025 term of the Provincial People's Procuracy Party Committee, comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu said that the Procuracy has thoroughly grasped the Party's policies and resolutions, the State's laws, especially resolutions on judicial reform; proactively and actively implemented synchronous solutions to improve the quality of the practice of prosecution rights and supervision of judicial activities.
Basically agreeing with the direction, goals, tasks and solutions set forth in the draft Political Report of the Provincial People's Procuracy Party Committee, comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu emphasized that these are appropriate orientations, clearly demonstrating the determination to build a comprehensively developed procuracy sector, meeting the requirements of judicial reform in the coming time.
To realize the important goals of the congress, comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Committee requested the Provincial People's Procuracy Party Committee to focus on Party building, building a clean and strong sector; prevent and repel the degradation of political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, and manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" within the Party. Effectively implement the annual topics "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics and lifestyle".
Focus on building a team of cadres and party members who are truly the core force, with sufficient qualities, capacity and prestige, to meet the increasingly high requirements of judicial reform in the new period. Each cadre and party member must be a shining example of political courage, professional ethics, sense of responsibility and aspiration to contribute. At the same time, constantly improve professional qualifications, working capacity, scientific research, summarizing practices, contributing to affirming the role and position of the sector in the political system and in judicial agencies.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also requested the Provincial People's Procuracy to focus on improving the quality of the work of practicing the right to prosecute and supervise judicial activities; ensuring that all crimes are detected, investigated, and handled strictly and in accordance with the law; not letting criminals escape, not wrongfully convicting innocent people.
Strengthen the supervision of the settlement of administrative, civil, commercial, labor and other cases in accordance with the law. Proactively recommend judicial agencies to remedy violations and shortcomings, ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of organizations and individuals. Well implement Regulation No. 132-QD/TW, dated October 27, 2023 of the Politburo on controlling power, preventing and combating corruption and negativity in investigation, prosecution, trial and execution activities.
At the same time, promote the application of information technology and digital transformation in all activities of the industry. Proactively develop and supplement regulations, closely coordinate with judicial agencies, especially the police, courts, enforcement agencies, Party committees and local authorities in handling cases, ensuring the consistency and effectiveness of the entire judicial system. Actively participate in judicial reform, proactively research and propose solutions to improve the effectiveness of judicial activities in accordance with local practices.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested comrades in the Party Executive Committee of the Provincial People's Procuracy to promote their qualities, capacity and prestige to lead the successful implementation of the tasks and targets set out in the Resolution of the Congress.
