The Prime Minister has just decidedemergency assistance250 billion VND will be allocated to three provinces: Nghe An, Dien Bien, and Son La, to mitigate the consequences of floods caused by heavy rains, from the central government's contingency budget for 2025, with Nghe An province receiving 100 billion VND.
* On the afternoon of August 3rd,Comrade Ho Duc Phuoc- Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Deputy Prime Minister, personally visited the mountainous areas of Nghe An province to inquire about and encourage the people and to inspect and direct the work of overcoming the consequences of the floods. Accompanying him were Lieutenant General Nguyen Quang Ngoc - Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army; Major General Nguyen Ngoc Ha - Deputy Commander of Military Region 4; and leaders of several central ministries and agencies. On the Nghe An provincial side were: Nguyen Duc Trung - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Le Hong Vinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, along with representatives from relevant departments, agencies, and localities.
