After the meeting between the Russian President and the US President's Special Envoy, Mr. Trump announced that there is a high possibility that he will meet Mr. Putin in the near future.
US President Donald Trump said the possibility of a meeting between him and Russian leader Vladimir Putin is very high “in the very near future”.
The three-hour meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US Special Presidential Envoy Stephen Witkoff ended at the Kremlin, according to a statement from the Russian president's press office.
Shortly afterwards, Mr Trump announced at the White House, that: “There is a strong possibility that the meeting will take place very soon.” According to him, the details of the meeting have not yet been determined.
“We haven’t decided where we’re going to meet yet, but the conversation with President Putin was very good. It’s very likely that we’ll complete this round of dialogue, complete the journey we’re on,” Mr. Trump said at the White House.
