Song Lam Nghe An Youth Football Training Center gives relief gifts to flood victims in Nhon Mai commune
On the afternoon of August 7, Song Lam Nghe An Youth Football Training Center organized a program to give relief gifts to people affected by floods in Nhon Mai commune, Nghe An province.
Attending the gift giving ceremony were Mr. Tran Quang Dung - Director of Song Lam Nghe An Youth Football Training Center and coaches in the center.

The delegation personally handed over 100 boxes of instant noodles and 50 electric kettles to local people. The total value of the relief gifts was nearly 40 million VND.
It is known that Nhon Mai commune is one of the localities severely affected by flash floods caused by storm No. 3. The flood caused serious damage to infrastructure, killed 1 person and caused hundreds of households to fall into difficult circumstances. According to preliminary statistics, the whole commune had 296 damaged houses, of which 73 were completely damaged.

In addition, the floods also caused great damage to agriculture, infrastructure of the education sector, livestock and irrigation. The area of rice, crops, plants and aquatic products affected was high, many irrigation works, canals, dams and embankments were eroded and damaged. Hundreds of livestock and poultry were swept away, barns and livestock equipment were also severely destroyed.
