The first Congress of Yen Trung Commune Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030 took place in the context of the whole country entering a new era of development with a strong aspiration to rise up. Promoting the tradition of solidarity, self-reliance, and development aspiration, the Party Committee and people of Yen Trung Commune set a goal of making a breakthrough, mobilizing and effectively promoting all resources, striving to soon bring the commune to meet advanced new rural standards, developing comprehensively and sustainably.
Overcoming difficulties, affirming the strength of solidarity
Yen Trung commune is an area merged and consolidated from 3 communes Hung Yen Bac, Hung Yen Nam, Hung Trung of Hung Nguyen district (old).
During the 2020-2025 term, local Party committees have focused on innovating leadership methods, promoting the strength of the entire political system and achieving many outstanding results.
The economy continues to maintain a relatively comprehensive growth rate. The total production value in 2025 is estimated to reach more than 2,091 billion VND, exceeding the target set by the congress. The average growth rate reaches 7.84%/year, among the high groups of communes in the former Hung Nguyen district.
The results of new rural construction are quite positive. People are not only beneficiaries but also become the subjects, participating in discussions, donating land, contributing labor and money to complete the new rural criteria. The strength of great solidarity that creates an increasingly prosperous new rural appearance in Yen Trung is that the people are not only beneficiaries but also become the subjects, participating in discussions, donating land, contributing labor and money to complete the new rural criteria.

The economic structure has shifted in a positive direction: Agriculture - forestry - fishery accounts for 37.63%; industry - construction 36.36%; services - trade 26.01%.
Thanks to that, the labor structure has gradually changed, in line with the general development trend. This is a great achievement when looking back at the difficult starting point of the communes before the merger. In particular, the economic restructuring has opened up a new direction, reducing dependence on pure agriculture, creating a foundation for Yen Trung commune to develop sustainably in the coming years.
Sharing specific steps of each economic sector, comrade Pham Ngoc Cu - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Commune People's Committee said: In agriculture, Yen Trung commune continues to affirm its supporting role. Production value by 2025 will reach 787 billion VND, with an average growth rate of 4.4%/year. Yen Trung commune has boldly applied mechanization and new scientific and technological advances into production. Building large-scale fields, forming specialized commodity production areas, contributing to increasing farmers' income.
In particular, Yen Trung commune has promoted the potential of hilly land to grow fruit trees and medicinal herbs: Four-season lemons, Xa Doai oranges, Thai custard apples, Tet peaches, etc. Many farm models and ranches raising 3B cows, hill chickens, goats, wild boars, etc. have been successful, following the direction of biosafety.
Along with agriculture, Yen Trung commune focuses on developing industry, handicrafts and services. The value of industrial and construction production in 2025 will reach 760 billion VND, with an average growth rate of 10.49% per year.
A number of establishments and businesses have been established in the area: a new technology brick factory, a waste oil treatment company, a construction stone quarry, a garment factory, etc. Trade and service activities have also flourished, with an estimated production value of 544 billion VND in 2025, an average growth of 10.04% per year. Along Route 542E, shops and mini supermarkets have been established to meet increasing consumer demand.
Along with economic development, the locality also pays special attention to developing and improving the quality of education, culture and society. In the area, 6/9 schools meet national standards. Health care and social security are given attention; the poverty rate is rapidly decreasing, people's lives are gradually improving. National defense - security, order and social safety are always maintained.

Closely following the new development orientations and policies of the Central Government and Nghe An province, Yen Trung Party Committee and people are also clearly defining the vision and direction for comprehensive and sustainable development for the locality in the coming period.
Comrade Phan Huu Hung - Party Secretary, Chairman of Yen Trung Commune People's Council said: The general goal for the 2025 - 2030 term determined by the Yen Trung Commune Party Committee is: Building a clean and strong Party Committee, focusing on leadership and direction to soon bring Yen Trung commune to meet advanced new rural standards; Improving the material and spiritual life of the people; preserving and promoting cultural identity, history and revolutionary traditions; National defense and security are firmly ensured; the Party organization and political system are clean and strong; promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc.
Based on the common goal, Yen Trung commune has built 27 main targets; 5 key task groups; 4 main solution groups and 3 strategic breakthroughs to focus on leadership and implementation in the next 5 years.
Yen Trung has abundant land and labor potential, revolutionary tradition and solidarity. The problem is to turn potential into advantages, turn aspirations into concrete actions, to build Yen Trung commune to truly become a bright spot in socio-economic development, build advanced new rural areas, and move towards model new rural areas.

Three breakthroughs are specifically identified:
One is, breakthrough in industrial development; Build and rapidly develop synchronous rural infrastructure. Focus on investing in infrastructure works to complete the criteria for communes meeting advanced new rural standards.
Two is, breakthroughs in promoting the application and transfer of new scientific and technical advances in agricultural and industrial production development; applying high-tech agriculture; attracting and promoting services, trade, and experiential eco-tourism.
Three is, breakthroughs in administrative reform and digital transformation, creating clear changes in the operation of the entire system.
The first Congress of Yen Trung Commune Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030 is a political milestone of special importance, opening a new development period for the homeland.
