Facing the risk of direct impact from the storm, the Party Committee - People's Committee of Truong Vinh Ward has arranged 10 evacuation points at schools, medical stations, the People's Committee of Hung Hoa Commune (old), the ward's public administration headquarters, and cultural houses of the blocks. Here, the authorities have prepared necessities and medical supplies to support people when necessary.

On-site inspection, the Party Secretary of the ward requested functional forces to guide people to reinforce their houses, trim trees, and clear sewers; organize urgent evacuation of poor households, disadvantaged and vulnerable families; and at the same time, arrange on-site means and machinery to proactively rescue and save victims.

At the same time, the ward has increased propaganda, updated information via local loudspeakers, closely monitored the water levels of Lam River, Vinh River and dykes and embankments. The on-duty force is deployed 24/7 to promptly handle any arising situations, effectively implementing the "4 on-site" motto in natural disaster prevention and control.
