On the afternoon of August 25, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha inspected evacuation points and the vulnerable coastal dyke in Dien Chau commune, Nghe An province before the storm made landfall.
Accompanying him were Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Hien - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of National Defense and members of the Government delegation; Lieutenant General Ha Tho Binh - Commander of Military Region 4; Major General Doan Xuan Buong - Party Secretary, Political Commissar of Military Region 4.

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha inspected the evacuation and storm shelter for people at Dien Chau Primary School. There are 62 households with 177 people, mainly the elderly, women and children, taking shelter from the storm.
Visiting and presenting gifts to the people, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that this is a very strong and dangerous storm. Therefore, people should rest assured to live at the evacuation point and return home after the storm has passed to ensure their safety. The Party Committee and the government will provide enough necessities, food and drinking water for the people.


The Deputy Prime Minister requested that Party committees, authorities and forces ensure all necessary conditions for people's daily life, especially taking good care of the health of the elderly and sick people.
At the same time, continue to review vulnerable points at risk of insecurity to evacuate people to shelters, the highest principle is to ensure maximum safety for people first and foremost.


Next, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha and his delegation directly inspected the sea dike in Dien Chau commune. This is the dike that is predicted to be affected when storm No. 5 makes landfall.
The Deputy Prime Minister requested the authorities and forces to be on duty at key points and prepare supplies to have a rescue plan in case of an incident.
