Mr. Le Quang Thanh:Storm No. 5, which made landfall in Nghe An on the evening of August 25, was a major storm, causing heavy damage to the power grid system in the province. Immediately after the storm passed, Nghe An Electricity Company directed its affiliated units to urgently carry out inspections, isolate the problem, and organize forces to fix it. The number one goal is to restore power as soon as possible to serve people's lives.

PV: Which area has the most widespread power outage right now, sir?

Mr. Le Quang Thanh:The most affected areas include Vinh City, Cua Lo, Nghi Loc, Dien Chau, Quynh Luu, Yen Thanh, and Hoang Mai Town (old). In Vinh City (old), widespread power outages were mainly caused by trees falling onto power lines, breaking wires and poles.

Mr. Le Quang Thanh:Following the direction of the Northern Power Corporation and the Company's leadership, we aim to restore the entire medium voltage grid and transformer stations in the old Vinh City area and some key areas today (August 26). After that, we will continue to handle the low voltage lines, gradually restoring power to households according to the motto "handle to where, supply power to there".

Regarding manpower, the Company has mobilized all officers and employees in the unit. At the same time, the Corporation also sent 3 Deputy General Directors directly to Nghe An to direct the recovery work. At the same time, shock troops from other power companies have also been mobilized to support. We are making every effort to restore power to the people as soon as possible.
