Authorities conducted an emergency search of 'boss' Đoan's workplace in Thanh Hoa.
The Thanh Hoa Provincial Police Investigation Agency has executed an urgent search warrant at the workplace of Mr. Cao Tien Doan ('Chairman' Doan), Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of Dong A Company.
On the night of August 28th, information from the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police indicated that the Provincial Police Investigation Agency had executed an urgent search warrant at the workplace of Mr. Cao Tien Doan (born in 1960), commonly known as 'Bau' Doan, residing in Sam Son Ward, Thanh Hoa Province - Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of Dong A Company, whose headquarters are located at 01A Nguyen Hieu Street, Le Loi Avenue, Hac Thanh Ward, Thanh Hoa Province.
The reason for the search was that the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police Investigation Agency received a tip from a citizen alleging illegal activities by Mr. Cao Tien Doan.
The investigation determined that Mr. Doan violated accounting regulations, causing serious consequences. Currently, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police are continuing to investigate and clarify the violations in order to handle them strictly according to the law.
Earlier, it was reported that at around 10 PM on the same day, police officers appeared at Mr. Doan's private residence in Sam Son ward. At the same time, many police officers also arrived at his company's headquarters in Hac Thanh ward to conduct an investigation.
It is known that, in addition to holding the position of General Director of Dong A Real Estate Group Co., Ltd., Mr. Doan is also a representative of the Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Council, a member of the Economic and Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council, Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Business Association, and Chairman of the Dong A Thanh Hoa Football Club.
Mr. Cao Tien Doan is considered an influential figure in Thanh Hoa. Therefore, the appearance of police officers at his private residence and company headquarters attracted many curious onlookers.
By 11 PM, police forces were still working at both locations.
