The Nghe An Provincial Military Command handed over 260 two-wheeled motorcycles to local military forces.
On the morning of September 1st, the Military Command of Nghe An province organized the handover of two-wheeled motorcycles to the commune and ward-level Military Commands throughout the province. This is part of a plan to equip more than 6,000 motorcycles for grassroots military forces nationwide, aiming to enhance mobility and meet the requirements of military and national defense tasks in the new situation.
Following the directives of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense, from July 2025, the General Department of Logistics and Technical Services has implemented a plan to procure and equip more than 6,000 motorcycles for over 3,000 commune and ward-level Military Commands nationwide. Accordingly, Nghe An province was allocated 260 Honda Wave Alpha motorcycles.

Immediately after receiving the vehicles, the Nghe An Provincial Military Command inspected the safety of the equipment and technical systems, completed the registration of military license plates and vehicle registration certificates in accordance with regulations, and handed them over to 130 commune and ward military commands in the area (2 vehicles per commune/ward).

At the same time, it is necessary to instruct and guide the units, after receiving the vehicles, to manage and utilize them effectively, use them for the right purpose, ensure safety and economy, and contribute to serving the local defense and military tasks effectively and with quality.

Equipping the commune and ward Military Commands with two-wheeled motorcycles demonstrates the profound concern of the Party and State, and the determination of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense in building local armed forces to become regular and modern, contributing to building and consolidating a stronger national defense system, meeting the requirements of the new situation.
