Giá tiêu hôm nay 7/9/2025: Giảm mạnh ngày càng xa đỉnh giá

Last August, Vietnam successfully exported 21,000 tons of pepper with a total value of 127 million USD. This result contributed to the total pepper export turnover of the first 8 months of 2025, reaching 166,000 tons and bringing in 1.1 billion USD.

A notable point is that although the export volume decreased by 9.8% compared to the same period last year, the export value increased by 27%. This difference comes from the fact that the average export price of pepper in the past 8 months reached 6,740 USD/ton, an increase of nearly 41% compared to the same period in 2024. This is the first time in many years that Vietnam's pepper exports have returned to the billion USD mark.

According to the forecast from the Import-Export Department under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, world pepper prices are expected to continue to increase in the second half of 2025. Currently, the market is going through a pause due to complicated tax policies and somewhat cautious purchasing psychology.

However, demand for additional purchases from major markets, especially the US, is expected to increase sharply again in the fourth quarter of 2025 and the first quarter of 2026. This promises to create many favorable conditions for Vietnam's pepper export activities in the coming time.
