Nghe An Newspaper, Radio and Television and Nghe Tinh Port presented gifts to support Xieng My Primary School.
On the morning of September 12, Nghe An Newspaper, Radio and Television cooperated with Nghe Tinh Port to present gifts to Xieng My Primary School, Nga My Commune.
Attending the gift giving ceremony for Nghe An Newspaper, Radio and Television were Deputy Editors-in-Chief: Tran Van Hung, Tran Huu Nghia, Phan Van Thang.
On the side of Nga My commune, there were comrade Lo Kham Kha - Deputy Secretary, Chairman of the Commune People's Committee; teacher Nguyen Dinh Man - Principal of Xieng My Primary School.
Also attending was comrade Nguyen Thien Duong - Secretary of the Youth Union of Nghe Tinh Port.
Over the past 10 years, the former Nghe An Newspaper and now Nghe An Radio and Television have had many programs to effectively support the poor commune of Xieng My, now Nga My. Activities include providing essential facilities for the activities of the Commune People's Committee, giving gifts to poor students, building economic models, and donating dozens of breeding cows to help poor households develop their economy. Now the herd has grown to hundreds of cows.
This new school year, Xieng My Primary School in Nga My commune has started boarding activities for more than 105 students (from grade 2 to grade 5) out of a total of 253 students of the school. Faced with the difficulties and lack of facilities of the school, Nghe An Newspaper, Radio and Television and Nghe Tinh Port joined hands to purchase equipment including: 5,000 liter stainless steel water tank, rice cooker, portable speaker, loudspeaker and 12 sets of tables and chairs. The total value is nearly 30 million VND, of which Nghe Tinh Port supported 20 million VND, and officers and employees of Nghe An Newspaper, Radio and Television contributed nearly 10 million VND.
Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Lo Kham Kha sincerely thanked Nghe An Newspaper, Radio and Television for their affection for Xieng My commune in the past and now Nga My commune over the years. With the timely support of the two units, Nghe An Newspaper, Radio and Television and Nghe Tinh Port, the commune and Xieng My Primary School will take better care of education in general and boarding activities in particular. He also hopes that in the coming time, the commune will continue to receive the attention and support of Nghe An Newspaper, Radio and Television and businesses, helping Nga My commune continue to have steady development steps.
