Roblox launches short clip sharing feature like TikTok and adds many AI tools to help players and developers be more creative.

Roblox Moments – short clips right in the game

At the Roblox Developers Conference (RDC), Roblox announced a new feature called Roblox Moments. This is a short video clip format that allows players to record, cut and share moments in the game.

Users can create 30-second clips, add background music and a description, and post them to their video feed. The clips will be visible to the community and allow viewers to react with emojis or participate in games directly from the video.

Roblox is also developing a Moments API that lets creators pin highlights, set up dynamic leaderboards, and even build real-time highlight ads. The platform plans to release the source code so developers can start using it right away.

New AI tool expands creativity on Roblox

Also at RDC, Roblox introduced a series of AI tools to help enhance the creative experience:

Create items with AI:With just one command description, AI can create vehicles, weapons or items for the character to use directly in the game.

Real-time voice translation:Players who speak English, Spanish, German or French can all chat fluently.

Text–Speech and Speech–Text APIs:Developers can create voice lines for the character with 10 different English voices, or let players control the character with voice commands.

These tools not only support creators, but also turn Roblox into a multilingual learning and creation environment.

Roblox increases creator earnings

In other good news, Roblox increased its DevEx conversion rate, giving creators an 8.5% increase in profits when converting Robux to real money. For example, 100,000 Robux will now be worth $380 instead of $350.

With Roblox Moments and new AI tools, Roblox is showing its direction to become a platform that is both entertaining and creative. Players can share interesting moments, developers have more powerful tools to build virtual worlds.

The combination of short clips, AI, and financial support mechanisms promises to help Roblox maintain its leading position in the global gaming industry, especially in the user-generated content segment.
