The 2025 Patriotic Emulation Congress of Nghe An province took place from September 25-26.
On the afternoon of September 16, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee held a meeting to listen to and give opinions on matters under its authority. Comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee chaired the meeting.
Attending the meeting were comrades: Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Le Hong Vinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; along with comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, leaders of relevant departments, agencies and branches.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee listened to the preparations for organizing the 2025 Patriotic Emulation Congress of Nghe An province.
The 2025 Nghe An Provincial Patriotic Emulation Congress took place over two days (September 25-26, 2025) with the participation of 406 delegates. The theme of the congress is: "Solidarity, creativity, innovation, emulation to build Nghe An to develop rapidly and sustainably".
The 2025 Patriotic Emulation Congress of Nghe An province is an important and meaningful activity, aiming to evaluate the achievements of patriotic emulation movements and commendation work in the period of 2020 - 2025 in Nghe An province; set out directions and tasks to promote emulation movements and commendation work in the coming years.
At the same time, commend heroic collectives and individuals, national emulation fighters, and typical, advanced and exemplary models, thereby arousing and encouraging the strength of the great national unity bloc; promoting internal strength, creating motivation to promote the successful implementation of political tasks in agencies, units and localities.
Through the 2025 Patriotic Emulation Congress of Nghe An province, lessons will be drawn on organizing emulation movements and implementing commendation work; on discovering, building and replicating advanced models; overcoming existing limitations to continue innovating, promoting emulation movements and implementing commendation work effectively in the coming time.
Main activities of the Congress: Press conference to orient propaganda content; Delegation offers flowers and incense at Uncle Ho's statue; Display images of the province's socio-economic and defense-security achievements in the period 2020 - 2025; Organize an exchange night with advanced models and the congress program.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee listened to a report summarizing press information and the situation of public opinion in recent times. Accordingly, the press agencies have closely followed the principles and purposes, and implemented relatively well the propaganda orientation of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, and the state management of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Press agencies have promptly informed and reflected current events, politics, economics, culture, society, national defense, security, Party building and political system activities... in the province, meeting readers' information needs and doing a good job of propaganda and orienting public opinion.
Agreeing with the contents of the congress organization plan, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Duc Trung emphasized that the 2025 Nghe An Provincial Patriotic Emulation Congress is a meaningful activity to welcome the 20th Congress of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030; at the same time, he requested that from now until the congress, propaganda work be continued to be promoted.
Regarding press work and public opinion, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Duc Trung requested to direct agencies and units to inspect, handle and promptly respond to information reported by the press.
The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism continue to direct press agencies to step up propaganda about the Patriotic Emulation Congress and the 20th Provincial Party Congress and the Fatherland Front Congress; continue to propagate about socio-economic development tasks and two-level government activities to create consensus in society.
